Moral-Majority
The majority are not moral. Only a minority are moral. Otherwise, Jesus was a liar ... Matthew 7:
Jesus clearly 'picturesquely' declares, far less than 50% of us find the moral road to eternal life with Him. Less start & fewer finish. Thus the scriptures warn us not to compare ourselves with others & get the false impression we are doing OK because the significant majority are headed for eternal hell. Consequently, we must compare ourselves with scripture. There are pockets of people around the world where the majority of people in those groups are moral, howbeit the world majority are not moral. It is often naively said, “People by human nature are essentially good.” That was true when humans were created, until the 1st sin. Shortly thereafter, the 1st son killed his only brother & sin became so rampant that in less than 2,000 years God had to cleanse the world with a flood that spared only 8 persons. If the majority was good, we would not be destroying the world. It is a cop out to say it is the fault of the minority elite. A true moral majority would stand up in opposition. The elite can do nothing if the populous refuse to cooperate. How many agree we should preserve nature until their jobs are threatened; then they are ready to fight … the conservationists. God, as a minority, is the author of morality. Only a minority follow His example; Jesus died in opposition to sin … the majority (the people) cried out for his death, not just the leaders. The USA arose from a moral minority that became a majority. The Christian pilgrims had been a moral minority in Europe. Because persecution was so intense, they risked their lives crossing the Atlantic, to start moral majority colonies along the east coast of North America. Eventually, standing up against the immorality of England; with God’s help, as stated by the founding fathers, they wrote the Declaration of Independence, successfully defended it, then wrote the Constitution … the USA was born. The founding fathers as professing believers of Jesus Christ & the Bible, founded this nation primarily on Biblical principles, in particular, the TEN COMMANDMENTS. Being imperfect, thus unable to perceive the future fully, they developed a democratic system functional in the moral majority of their day. The moral majority over time has been diluted to the point of now being the moral minority … now the immoral majority is destroying this nation by the same democratic system. God has been kicked out of school & government … replaced by anarchy & corruption. Duh! Slow down for just 1 day & truly observe what God sees from His perspective. The big deception ... the vast majority profess believing in God, Jesus & the Bible … HOWEVER … 2 Timothy 3: 5Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.[3] Most profess to believe, "according to their own understanding" … thus deny the power of God’s law, by cherry picking the sections that suit their purpose ( in or out of context) & omitting what is uncomfortable. Even relegating it to each man’s interpretation; try that with a human Judge regarding man’s law & see what happens. They use the fact that they can not understand complex scripture as an excuse not to understand the obvious; try that with an earthly teacher. Many use the hypocrisies of others to go astray instead of following Jesus themselves. Instead they befriend the hypocrites of the world & sin worse, saying, "At least I am not a hypocrite going to church, then sinning the rest of the week." True, they just sin all week! What? ... God does not see the multitude of each person’s motives & excuses to be what they want to be … Godly or unGodly. The Christian community is guilty of not obeying the 2nd part of the verse: from such turn away.[3] … compromising to a slow take-over. Main pinnacles being, when they did not stand up against: 1) The LIE of SEPARATION OF CHURCH & STATE. 2) Removing God from schools. 3) Abortion. ... opposing with another DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE, like the Founding Fathers did against the immoralities of the British. Also, reverting to educating our children in churches ... perhaps, different grades assigned to different churches. Fear of defeat is no excuse. Using God’s word to justify subordination to an evil government in matters contrary to God’s principles is a perversion of His word; else the Founding fathers were guilty for opposing the British injustices. Now it is a slow death to the USA ‘till its destruction, lest there is an unlikely national repentance that would probably require another civil war. At present a few moral spiritual battles are being won but the war is being drastically lost. 911 was a dismal sign, as the churches were full, asking God’s help, but the Nation was not truly acknowledging & committing to cleansing its sins … how can it when the Nation justifies & permits the sins that led to the destruction of Sodom & Gomorrah! When it was obvious that Armageddon was not yet, church attendance reverted.
