REVELATION Chapter 21 1And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. 5And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. 6And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. 7He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. 8But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. Chapter 22 10And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand. 11He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. 12And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. 13I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. 14Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. 15For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. 16I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. 17And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. 18For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. 20He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. 21The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. [3]

Merriam-Webster Online Thesaurus sorcery magic
COMMENTARY: 2,000 years ago they did not have psychotropic manmade drugs ... they used psychotropic herbs. The English words psychotropic & drug … did not exist. In the years of the apostles, they did have the Greek Words, pharmakeus & pharmakon . In Revelation 21:8, the Greek word, pharmakeus, means one who prepares or uses magical remedies(potions) – (occult substances), made from, pharmakon a noun, meaning, a herbal drug, i.e. spell-giving potion, that makes you STONED/HIGH !!! In Revelation 22:15, pharmakos , (adjective) pertaining to magical (occult) arts. Rev.21:8, addresses the one who prepares or uses the occult “psychotropic” substance. Rev.22:15, addresses the associated occult activities. You can see that these Greek words are similar, yet different but obviously related … because the Apostles who walked with Jesus & the Holy Spirit who wrote these passages knew psychotropic herbs & the occult were and still are closely associated. Psychotropic herbal spell-giving, “tripping” substances that make us stoned or high … induce, mumbo jumbo(stoned confusion), distort & open up our mind to the spiritual realm, deceptively making us feel at peace & connected … to evil spell-giving spirits, invoking occultism … even extraordinary magical, supernatural power or influence. Magic Mushrooms are a powerful example & Marijuana tea is a subtle example. Magic is explicitly referring to stoned/high !!! Just a coincidence, if you’re in denial !!! In 1611, when the King James Bible was translated in Middle English, the word sorcery was used as a general term referring to “all” occult related activities and “substances.” The translation is correct but general … so we check the original language for the specific details. It was not by chance that in the last two chapters of the book of Revelation, which was written for the final generation, that these two passages would define the similarities and differences of occult substance and activity. In this generation, these two references of occultism are at an historical all time high. Obviously, God knew he “was” speaking to our generation !!!
Conclusion: *** CONSIDER SERIOUSLY … God in revelation 21:8, is stating that “NATURAL,” psychotropic substances are evil and on the path to the lake of fire, Hell. He does not say, “excess use of,” as He does with some other substances. In revelation 22:15, God is stating that the associated occult activities, with or without the psychotropic substances is also evil and on the same path, thereby, “preventing entrance” into the pearly gates of the holy city, New Jerusalem, on the new earth. Jesus said, it is those that obey him that love him and are his true disciples. He also says they that say they believe and disobey are guiltier than those that do not believe, provoking him to wrath, invoking greater eternal consequences upon themselves. Can you imagine, I have heard Satan insult Jesus, by saying through misguided persons, who say they are believers in Jesus, “Jesus probably smoked pot !!!” Truly, an example of blasphemy !!! Thank God, there is forgiveness … if we ask … and truly change our ways. Jesus states it very clearly … those that understand from “His” perspective, not their own, and respond appropriately … are His true believers. How foolish are we to risk the good or bad consequences of eternity … by just trying to justify taking … “a” … TOKE !!! Some say, what about alcohol, tobacco, coffee, chocolate, sugar, gluttony … all are topics I hope to cover in the future … the parameters of other issues do not affect the conclusion of this topic. Tell the judge; jaywalking across a busy intersection is the same as a side street. Use all things permitted by God, in moderation. By His logic, not ours, “The Great King” says No to psycho tropics … they’re on the highway to Hell. Abuse of prescribed or non-prescribed Medications with or without a Doctor’s consent that alter our conscious perception are just as spiritually liable. Consider, God determines when it is abuse not us or even the doctor. The ball is in your court … if you can prove, the above information is wrong and that God does permit using psychotropic herbs … I will consider smoking pot. We are talking about facts not perspective. You have your viewpoint; I have my viewpoint, does not cut it. God does not excuse ignorance, willful or not. He says, we are to study, to prove ourselves acceptable to Him. Also, to care enough to correct one another !!!
